Iris von Idstein is a lovely 12 month old coated German Shepherd.  Already our kennel staff consider Iris a "really special" girl.  She has a soft, gentle temperament and is somewhat shy yet friendly.  Iris is great with other dogs, good on a leash and respectful of cats.  On hot days she enjoys cooling off in the wading pool.  Agile on her feet, she likes to prance around with a ball in her mouth, looking for someone to play with her, and is good at returning the ball for another 100 tosses or until you get tired -- whichever comes first.  This happy, calm-energy girl will made a wonderful addition to any family.
